Our Azas Safaris guide will be waiting for you at the airport holding a boarding pass with your names. He will drive you to your hotel to rest and have a meal/snack depending on your arrival time. The driver-guide will brief you on the next day’s itinerary and also inform you of the pickup time.

Day 2:Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Rhino Trekking
Have an early breakfast. Then drive northwards on the Kampala-Gulu for approximately two and a half hours and get to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary located in Nakasongola. Set out for a hike on the sanctuary to track the white rhinos. In addition to the rhinos, the sanctuary harbors several other wildlife including hippos, bushbucks, oribis, and lots of birds.
After close to two hours of trekking, get back on the road and get to Masindi for your lunch. Thereafter, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Check-in at your accommodation to relax, have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3:Early Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls
Wake up early, have your breakfast and set off for the game drive. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, reedbucks, Uganda kobs, oribis, warthogs, lots of savanna birds and wonderful scenery.
After close to four hours, return to your accommodation for breakfast and lunch. Later, set out for the afternoon launch cruise along the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. There are lots of wildlife sightings along the Nile including, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and lots of water birds.
At the base of the falls, you can opt for the launch and hike along the falls to the top of the falls. You will meet the driver at the top and transfer back to your lodge. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to kibale
Have breakfast, check out of the lodge and leave for Kibale National Park. The drive along the scenic Albertine Rift Valley continues. You will stop over in Fort Portal town for lunch before proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park. Check into your accommodation that is situated just outside the park. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the natural environment outside at the lodge.

Day 5:Chimpanzee tracking – Bigodi Nature Walk
After breakfast, you will head to Kibale Forest to view the primates. The activity begins at 8.00 am with a briefing on the rule for trekking the chimpanzees after which you’ll set off to search for them in the forest.
The exercise takes half a day and along the way, you will see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, phoestes, red-Colobus and the blue-tailed and red-tailed monkeys swinging in the braches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates.
You will be coming across and on the plants as well as the insects and butterflies in this forest to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. Later, head out for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp for a sighting of primates and birds.

Day 6:Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop over in Fort Portal town for lunch. Get to the park and drive to the lodge while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of beautiful crater lakes dotted across the lush landscape.
You will get to your accommodation in the late afternoon, and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the beautiful nature across the park.

Day 7:Early Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel
Wake up to an early cup of tea/coffee at 6:00 am and set out for an early game drive. Games to see include lions, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, kobs and topis.
The scenery is amazing with crater lakes and grassy hills. Afterwards, close to three hours, return to the lodge for breakfast, rest and have lunch. After lunch, set out for the boat safari on the Kazinga Channel that joins Lakes Edward and George.
The channel attracts a plethora of wildlife including hippos, buffaloes, elephants, monitor lizards and lots of water birds and wonderful scenery. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your accommodation.

Day 8:Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Wake up to an early breakfast, check out of the accommodation and travel to the southern area of the park called Ishasha. This area is popular for tree-climbing lions, and if you’re lucky, you may see them.
Other big game in this area include elephants, topis, and buffaloes among others. Lunch will be served in Ishasha. Thereafter, travels southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check-in at your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 9:Gorilla Tracking – Community Walk
Wake up to an early breakfast at 6:30 am, pick up your packed lunch and transfer to the park offices for a briefing by the rangers. You’ll be assigned a gorilla group you shall track. At 8:00 am, transfer to the start of the trek and head into the forest to find the mountain gorillas.
You are allowed no more than an hour with them. Then you’ll return to meet your driver. Get back to the lodge for a snack, refresh and then later visit the local Batwa community to see the indigenous ways of living. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 10:Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Canoe Ride
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation experience. You’ll get to your accommodation in time for lunch. After lunch, relax a bit then later go for a canoe ride on one of the deepest lakes in the world. You can choose to ride the canoe yourself or use a guide to ride you. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 11:Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Evening Game Drive
Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Get to Lake Mburo in time for lunch, check into your accommodation and then have lunch. After lunch, relax and then later go for an evening game drive in the park. Get to see a really beautiful sunset in the plains. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 12:Morning Nature Walk – Afternoon Boat Ride
Wake up for an early morning nature walk in the park for a chance to catch some nocturnal wildlife at a close encounter. You are led by an armed ranger. After the walk, return to the lodge, relax, refresh, and have lunch. Later on, after lunch set out for a relaxing evening boat ride on Lake Mburo.
This gives you a chance to view some wildlife including hippos and several birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 13:Travel Back to Entebbe
Wake up and have breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel back to Entebbe to catch your evening flight back home. You’ll be dropped off at your desired destination. Lunch is en-route. You will also get to make a stopover at the Equator point for some picture moments.
