This fly in luxury tour takes you to the main highlights of Kenya – Safari in Masai Mara National Reserve and Uganda – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park. You will have 2 full days viewing the vast wildlife in Masai Mara and then 2 days for 2 gorilla treks in Bwindi Forest National Park.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi driving you to Wilson Airport where you will board your flight to Masai Mara. You will then get picked up at the airstrip and have a short game drive as you proceed to your camp in time for lunch.
After relaxing for a while you will then head out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara plains getting back later at camp for dinner.

On these 2 days, after breakfast you will head out for full day game drives where you expect to see a number of wildlife like; lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, hyenas, cheetahs, zebras as well as many bird species. You will be enjoying a picnic lunch on day 2 and on day 3 you will get back to your camp for lunch and thereafter head out for a visit to a Masai village close to the park. Hence getting back to the camp later in the evening.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will drop you at the nearest airstrip to your camp where you will board a plain to Jomo Kenyatta airport where you will connect with the flight to Entebbe - Uganda. You will then be picked by our company representative who will then drive you to your hotel in Entebbe.

After a morning cup of coffee, you will be dropped at the Airport in Entebbe where you will board the plane heading to Kihihi airstrip close to Bwindi Forest National Park. You will then be picked by a driver who will then drive you to your palce of accommodation in Bwindi. The drive gives you views of the beautiful scenery of the southwestern region of Uganda.

These 2 days are always regarded as the biggest days of all days in the safari. So, after breakfast you will head out to the park headquarters where you have to get to not later than 7:30 AM. And here you will join other visitors for a briefing by one of the park staff and thereafter you will meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2-7 hours round trip depending on how long the family you are trekking will have moved today from where it was last seen yesterday.
It will be the same on the second day but this time you will be allocated to a different gorilla family. This will give you different experiences right from the beginning of the trek, when you meet them up to the end of the trek.

Today after breakfast, your driver-guide will make sure you get to the airstrip near Bwindi on time to be able to catch the flight to Entebbe International Airport. This will then mark the end of your 8 day Masai Mara & Bwindi Gorilla Safari Tour.
