Overview
Take a walking tour of Kibera, Nairobi’s largest slum. Drive to Kibera with a local guide, then explore the neighborhood on foot. Visit a local orphanage that doubles as a school, learn how locals turn animal bones into beads, and visit with a local family to learn more about everyday life in the area. The tour is a sobering, yet realistic look into the lives of these humble and friendly people.
