3 DAYS GATE AWAY TO MURCHISON FALLS

Over view

This 3 day safari will take you to Uganda’s finest largest and most visited national park situated in the north-western Uganda on an area of 3840 sq. km

It sis classified with Savannah grassland, and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating it in two {the northern and southern bank}. Murchison falls is home to over 451 bird species such as the shoe bill stork {Albertine endemic}, Goliath, heron and the dwarf kingfisher among others,76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison falls squeezing their way through a George that is 8m wide

Activities: Rhino trekking, game drive, boat cruise, viewing top of the falls, bird watching, hiking and nature walks, sport fishing, cultural encounters in Murchison falls

DAY 1: DRIVING TO MURCHISON FALLS

We shall set off from Kampala at our offices in mengo masengere plaza, our driver or guide will pick you up at 7:am he will brief us about our safari to the park then you start the 6 hr journey

You will have a stopover in nakasongola at ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking after trekking On our way to the park we shall have other stopovers one in luwero for buying roasted meat and gonja   then proceed to Masindi where we will have our Have lunch, after proceed to the park have a stop over to take road park pictures then proceed relax for an hour at our planned place of accommodation

Being at the top of the falls is an amazing experience as you will watch the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in an 8m gorge. later drive to our place of accommodation relax the whole evening, have dinner and an overnight stay and some night soft music

 DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND DOING SOME NATURE WALK

Having morning breakfast

On this day wake up early and have breakfast at 6:30am, after your guide or ranger will pick you from the lodge to start your game drive at 7:00 Expect to spot a lot of animal species such as hippos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffalos, crocodiles giraffes, check out all those animals in the park in our game drive, watch the Savanna grass land in the park

After the game drive at around 11:40am drive back at the lodge relax freshen up and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise on the boat you will be able to see the various Nile crocodiles busking in the sun, hippos relaxing on the water. the boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the the Murchison.

You will opt to go for hiking to the top of the falls where you will meet your driver guide who take you back at the accommodated place and get ready for swimming

Day 3: travelling back to Kampala

Enjoy your breakfast; thereafter proceed for another game drive in the morning on your way back to Kampala .it will be a great time as you look out various animal’s species that will be seen in the grasslands feeding such as buffalo, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes and some birds

You will have lunch in Masindi and then en root and your driver will drop you at airport or hotel
